Local Patient Survey Results 2025

Our local patient survey was sent to the entire practice cohort and we received 990 responses.

What’s Working Well: Key Areas of Strong Performance

  • 81% rated our cleanliness as good or excellent.
  • 73% said our receptionists are helpful or very helpful.
  • 88% feel safe or very safe inside Gallions Reach Health Centre.
  • 88% feel comfortable or very comfortable asking their clinician questions.
  • 90% of respondents felt somewhat or completely listened to and understood by their clinician.

Here are some of the improvements we’ve made and the areas we are continuing to work on:

  • Increasing awareness of available support:

Respondents told us they were unaware of some of the support services we offer, such as our Language Line for translation, the hearing loop for patients who are hard of hearing, and the availability of a chaperone during appointments.

We have since improved signage at reception, updated our phone message to highlight these services, and added clearer information under the Appointments section of our website. All staff have also received up-to-date training.

  • Better signposting to local services:

To improve how we direct patients to local services and community groups, we are actively collaborating with local organisations to enhance signposting and ensure these options are more visible.

  • Encouraging more patient feedback:

To make it easier for you to share your views, suggestion slips are now available by the comment boxes in our waiting areas as well as at reception.

  • Improving accessibility for patients with learning disabilities:

We are working closely with the borough’s Learning Disability Fellow to improve accessibility and support for patients with learning disabilities, with a particular focus on making the appointment-booking process easier.
